nomadic Japanese Tea (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) establishes this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information we collect and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, related guidelines, and other applicable laws and regulations.

    “Personal Information” means personal information as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, including information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, address, phone number, email address, or other descriptions, as well as information that can identify a specific individual on its own (personal identification information).

    We take appropriate organizational, physical, human, and technical measures to protect personal information and to prevent leakage, loss, or damage, and we implement necessary and appropriate security management measures.

    We may collect personal information from users (“Users”) to the extent necessary for operating our website (the “Site”), through the following methods:
    ・ Submitting inquiries via the contact form and consultations regarding our services
    ・ Requests for quotations and communications regarding reservations (via email, etc.)
    ・ Any other information voluntarily entered and submitted by Users through the Site

    v. To prevent and respond to fraudulent or nuisance activities

Personal information obtained through contact forms, etc. will generally be retained for up to 24 months from the last communication as a guideline, after which it will be deleted or disposed of in an appropriate manner if it is no longer needed.However, if retention is necessary for contract performance, administrative processes such as billing and payment, compliance with legal obligations, or similar purposes, we may retain the information for the period necessary to fulfill such purposes.
